1909 Founded by Tomekichi Maruyama.
Started production of various metals and snaps.
1914 Moved to Honjo-ku Irie-cho, Tokyo City.
1923 Burned down due to the Great Kanto Earthquake.
1924 Moved to 5-1517, Honcho, Funabashi-shi, Chiba prefecture to resume operation.
1933 High-speed auto pressing machines were introduced from Germany to increase the volume of production and quality.
Organized a general partnership company Maruyama Kinzoku Seisakusho.
Capital: 50,000 yen
Representative partner: Tomekichi Maruyama
1944 Changed name to Maruyama Kinzoku (Maruyama Metal MFG.) and reorganized into a stock company.
Capital: 130,000 yen
1948 Increased capital to 1,000,000 yen.
1950 His Imperial Highness Takamatsu visited the factory on October 11th.
1953 Toki Maruyama became the company president.
1965 Increased capital to 4,000,000 yen.
Built and moved to a new main factory at the present location.
1970 Increased capital to 10,000,000 yen.
1973 Tomimasa Maruyama became the CEO.
1978 Increased capital to 30,000,000 yen.
1979 Celebrated the company's 70th anniversary.
1982 Awarded from Chiba prefectural government for efforts promoting trade.
1987 Recognized for “excellent incorporation.”
1990 Celebrated the company's 80th anniversary.
1993 Tomimasa Maruyama became Chairman of the Board.
Tatsuo Kawakami became CEO.
1995 Introduced a state-of-the-art production machine from Germany.
2000 Celebrated the company's 80th anniversary. Conducted recreation trip to Beijing.
2001 ISO9001 Certified.
2002 Established a joint corporation (環豊金属有限公司) in China on November 15th.
2004 Company trip to Shanghai, visited China factory.
Mayor of Funabashi City visited our factory on November 24th.
環豊金属 Increased capital from 41,000,000 yen to 65,000,000 yen.
2007 Started Maruyama Metal's employee ownership program.
2010 Company trip to Thailand.
Celebrated the company's 101st anniversary.
